# About RankRight

[RankRight](/) does local SEO for Singapore small businesses: salons and barbers, aircon and trade companies, car workshops, pet groomers and tuition centres.

## Why the check comes first

Most SEO is sold as a package before anyone has looked at where the business stands. We do it the other way round: we check your own searches on live Google results, show you where you appear and what ranks above you, and only then put a price on the work. Google itself says an SEO audit should give you realistic estimates of improvement and an estimate of the work involved ([Google](https://developers.google.com/search/docs/fundamentals/do-i-need-seo)).

## How we work

- From Google's own guidance. Every recommendation points to Google's documentation, so you can check it yourself.
- Pages only where there is demand. Every page we build is priced with Google Ads search data first, and needs something real to say.
- Every change listed. Google says an SEO should be willing to explain every change they make to your site. We list them without being asked.

## What we will not do

- Guarantee a ranking. Google says no one can guarantee a #1 ranking, and that there is no way to request or pay for a better local ranking (Google).
- Claim a special relationship with Google, or a "priority submit". Google names both as warning signs (Google).
- Buy links or reviews, or ask you to link to us.
- Claim PSG. We are not a pre-approved Productivity Solutions Grant vendor.
