Google's guidance is direct: there are no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode, nor other special optimisations necessary, and you do not need new machine-readable files, AI text files or special schema markup (Google). RankRight does not sell tricks. It checks the fundamentals Google lists, and fixes the ones that are missing.
Where we start
We read your site the way a crawler does: is it allowed in, can it reach every important page, and is the important content there as text?
What Google says still matters
Google lists these SEO fundamentals as still worthwhile for its AI features (Google):
- Crawling allowed in robots.txt and by any CDN or hosting setup
- Content findable through internal links
- A good page experience
- Important content available as text
- Images and video that support the text
- Structured data that matches the visible text
- Business Profile information up to date
The one that catches people out
"Crawling allowed by any CDN or hosting setup." Some hosting and security services can block crawlers at network level, before your own robots.txt is ever read. A site can look perfect and still be invisible. This is the first thing we check.
Worth knowing
Google says AI Overviews only show when its systems judge them additive, and often do not trigger (Google). In the six local trade searches we checked on mobile (DataForSEO live Google results, Singapore, mobile, 14 October 2026), none showed an AI Overview; all showed a map pack. For most local businesses today, the map and the organic results still decide who gets the call.
What is included
- Crawler access check, robots.txt and hosting
- Internal links to every important page
- Content available as text
- Structured data matched to the page
- Business Profile check
Doing it yourself, a cheap package, or RankRight
| Doing it yourself | Cheap package | RankRight | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Special AI files or markup | Sold online | Sold as extras | Not needed: Google says so |
| Crawler access checked at host level | Rarely | Rarely | First check |
What it costs
Published Singapore guides put SEO at S$500 to S$3,000 a month for most businesses, with entry plans around S$500 to S$1,500 (Digital Marketing Agency); another puts most SMEs at S$1,500 to S$3,000 (Roots Digital); a third lists basic agency packages from S$400 to S$700 a month (OOM). RankRight quotes after the free visibility check, so you price the work against your own results, not a package.

How it works
- Send your business and website. Plus the two or three services you most want customers to find, and the areas you serve.
- Free visibility check. Where you show on Google today for those searches, map pack and organic, and what ranks above you.
- A plan with a price. What to fix first, why, and what it costs. Nothing to pay before this.
- Work, then measure. Changes made and listed, pages submitted, the same searches checked again.
