Before anyone sells you SEO, you should know where you stand. RankRight checks the searches that matter to your business (your service plus your area) on live Google results, and shows you where you appear in the map pack and the organic results, and what ranks above you. Google itself says an audit should give you realistic estimates of improvement and an estimate of the work involved (Google). That is what this is.
Where we start
You tell us your two or three most important services and areas; we run those searches on live Google results and read your website and profile against them.
What you get back
- Your position for each search, map pack and organic
- What ranks above you, and what kind of page it is (a business, a directory, a Facebook page)
- Gaps on your website: services or areas with no page
- Profile gaps: hours, category, photos, the website link
- Whether anything is stopping Google from reading your site
- The first three fixes, in order
Which searches we check
Your service with your area ("aircon servicing tampines"), your service with "singapore", and your business name. The last one matters more than it sounds: if a customer who already knows you cannot find you by name, nothing else comes first.
What we never ask for
Your passwords. The check uses public Google results and your public website. If you later want us to look inside Search Console, Google's advice is to give read access only at audit stage, never write access (Google). We ask for exactly that.
What is included
- Live Google results for your searches
- Map pack and organic positions
- What ranks above you
- Website and profile gaps
- Crawl-blocking check
- First three fixes, in order
Doing it yourself, a cheap package, or RankRight
| Doing it yourself | Cheap package | RankRight | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Based on live results | One search on your phone | A generic tool report | Your searches, checked |
| Needs your passwords | No | Sometimes | No |
| Tells you what to fix first | No | Fifty items, unranked | Three, in order |
What it costs
Free. If you then want the work done, the price comes with the plan, before anything is paid.
